Ruark Talisman-R Floorstanding Speakers – Premium Hi-Fi Stereo Speakers

Timeless British Design. Natural, Powerful Sound.

Rediscover the pleasure of high-fidelity listening with the Ruark Talisman-R Floorstanding Speakers, a modern interpretation of Ruark's iconic Talisman loudspeakers first introduced in 1990.

Combining elegant British design with advanced acoustic engineering, the Talisman-R delivers a natural, engaging stereo soundstage in a beautifully proportioned floorstanding cabinet.

Designed for music enthusiasts who value both performance and aesthetics, these premium passive Hi-Fi speakers are equally at home in a contemporary living room or a dedicated stereo listening setup.

Key Features

Natural, Detailed Hi-Fi Sound

The Talisman-R features a carefully engineered two-way speaker system, combining a 27mm silk dome tweeter with a 165mm (6.5-inch) Ruark NS+ long-throw woofer.

Together, these drivers reproduce clear vocals, detailed high frequencies, expressive midrange and controlled bass, creating an immersive listening experience across a wide variety of music genres.

Advanced Decoupled Baffle Technology

Ruark's innovative decoupled baffle system uses elastomer mounting bushes and specialised damping materials to minimise the transfer of unwanted vibrations from the drivers into the speaker cabinet.

Combined with internal cabinet bracing and acoustic damping, this construction reduces resonance and sound colouration, allowing music to be reproduced with greater clarity and precision.

Deep, Controlled Bass Performance

A tuned bass-reflex enclosure with a dual-flared port enhances low-frequency performance while helping to minimise unwanted airflow noise.

The result is satisfying bass depth and definition without sacrificing the balance and natural character of the music.

Elegant Floorstanding Design

Inspired by the original Talisman speakers, the Talisman-R combines a slim silhouette with premium finishes and carefully considered detailing.

Available in Fused Walnut and Satin Charcoal, the speakers feature decorative walnut slat detailing, acoustically transparent fabric grilles and a solid steel base that creates a distinctive floating appearance.

Premium Acoustic Components

An optimised second-order crossover incorporates high-quality audio-grade capacitors and low-loss inductors for accurate driver integration.

This carefully engineered design helps deliver a cohesive stereo presentation with excellent musical detail.

Flexible Hi-Fi System Integration

The Talisman-R is designed for use with a compatible external stereo amplifier or music console.

With a nominal impedance of 6 ohms and recommended amplifier power of 50–250W, these speakers are suitable for a wide range of quality Hi-Fi systems.

Dual gold-plated binding posts support conventional speaker wiring and bi-wiring configurations.

For a beautifully coordinated audio system, pair the Talisman-R with the Ruark R710 CD Hi-Fi Console or Ruark R610 Music Console.
