About the Product
Sennheiser HD 800 S Open-Back Audiophile Headphones
Explore your music with the Sennheiser HD 800 S. Featuring 56mm Ring Radiator transducers, an acoustic absorber system and a spacious open-back design, these premium wired headphones bring fine detail and natural spatial imaging to your home listening setup.
Why Buy Sennheiser HD 800 S?
- Experience an expansive soundstage: Angled drivers help convey the placement and separation of instruments.
- Discover subtle details: Ring Radiator technology delivers precise, low-distortion reproduction.
- Hear greater clarity: Acoustic absorbers reduce resonances that can mask musical information.
- Listen comfortably: Soft microfiber padding and articulating earcups accommodate your fit.
- Connect to premium audio equipment: Standard 6.35mm and balanced 4.4mm cables are included.
Precision with 56mm Ring Radiator Drivers
The 56mm Ring Radiator transducers use a diaphragm secured at both its inner and outer edges. This design combines a large radiating surface with controlled movement for detailed playback.
Spacious Sound and Reduced Resonance
Angled drivers and open earcups create a natural sense of space. The acoustic absorber system and vibration-damping chassis help preserve clarity.
Best enjoyed in a quiet room: The open-back design lets surrounding sound in and allows people nearby to hear your audio.
Comfort and Connectivity
Microfiber ear and headband padding, an adjustable metal headband and dual-axis earcups support comfortable listening.
Two detachable 3m cables accommodate 6.35mm and compatible balanced 4.4mm outputs. For the 300Ω impedance, pair the headphones with an amplifier or DAC/amp offering sufficient output and headroom.
